COVID TEST RESTRICTION TO ENTER TURKEY

  • Please note that in accordance with the recent decision, certain restrictions will be applied for passengers arriving to Turkey. • As of 28 December 2020, passengers arriving to Turkey by air are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 72 hours prior to their flight, and the test result should be submitted during check-in. Passengers failing to submit a negative PCR test are not allowed to board the flights. This application is valid until 01 March 2021. • As of 30 December 2020, passengers arriving to Turkey by land or sea transportation are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 72 hours prior to their flight, and the test result should be submitted during check-in. Passengers failing to submit a negative PCR test are not allowed to board the flights. This application is valid until 01 March 2021. • All passengers are required to wear masks at the terminals and during the flights/voyages. • All passengers must complete the passenger information form when arriving to Turkey. • All passengers will undergo a medical examination and those showing symptoms will have tests performed. Those who do not submit the negative PCR test to the official authorities during entry through the border gate should be quarantined at the address they declared to stay (home, hotel, etc.). Those who stated that they do not have a place to stay should be quarantined in places to be determined by the Provincial Health Directorates, PCR tests are to be carried out on the 7th day of the quarantine period and the quarantine of those whose test results are negative at the end of the 7th day will end, and the treatment of those whose PCR tests were positive will be carried out in accordance with the Ministry of Health COVID-19 guidelines.
