Maritime Law Training by Esenyel & Partners team to the Iraqi State Company for Maritime Transport

Esenyel & Partners team provided training on maritime law to the "Iraqi State Company for Maritime Transport" company within the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation. The two-day training was held at the Ekol Maritime Training Center.

On the first day of the training, which was carried out by our company's lawyers, Selcan Koçak and Muhammet Hamza Ünal, the issues that should be taken into consideration when examining contracts in comparative law and contracts in Turkish law were included. On the second day of the training, Freight Contract, Charter Party and their types, Bill of Lading and other sea transport bills, and Incoterms delivery methods in terms of Turkish and English law were exemplified.

Lawyer Selcan Koçak and Lawyer Muhammet Hamza Ünal conveyed their experiences in practice to their colleagues from neighboring countries, as well as providing legal information.

At the end of the program, Ekol Maritime Training Center-approved participation certificates were presented to the lawyers and maritime lawyers who came to our country from Iraq for training.
